About The Artist

Adam Strang Bass

"I am a Florida native, born in Winter Haven.  I have always loved wild Florida - the Real Florida. The wild lands of Florida are my sanctuary.  I currently live on Lake Pierce - part of the Everglades Headwaters.  Sharing Florida's landscapes and wildlife through photography, and keeping them wild are my passions.  I hope you enjoy my photography and that it inspires you to keep Florida wild."

Adam Bass was born and raised in Winter Haven, Fl.  His mother, Eve Bass, introduced him to art at a young age and he focused on drawing and painting.  He is an avid outdoors man and picked up photography in an effort to share the places he loves.  He has been a photographer for several years and focuses on Florida landscapes and wildlife.  Adam served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps deploying twice to Iraq.  He is actively involved in land protection of Florida's working and natural lands, as Director of Conservation for Conservation Florida.  Conservation Florida is a non-profit land trust working throughout the state of Florida.  He is married to Kim Bass, and they have two children, Max and Haddie.
